PA system, harp amplification

The harp is the ideal instrument for background music. However, when a large number of guests are present at an event or a function takes place outdoors, the noise may well drown out the delicate sound of the harp.

This is when harp amplification becomes a viable option. Measured correctly, harp amplification will allow people to converse without having to raise their voices whilst being able to appreciate the music.

Microphone

The grand concert harp is one of the most difficult instruments to amplify. With a note range almost as broad as that of the piano, it is necessary to install two microphones next to the resonance chamber.

These microphones are specialized in accurately reproducing the subtle sounds produced by the harp, without picking up any background noise.

The extra cost for the PA system will vary according to the needs and size of the event. It will include all the equipment, installation, sound tests, and technical supervision to ensure that the harp or any other instrument used during the event will sound just right.
